CLEVELAND, Ohio--The Keene State College Department of Athletics placed 69th, the highest of any Little East Conference institution, in the final Learfield Sports Directors Cup standings.
The Directors’ Cup, a joint effort of NACDA and USA Today, ranks each Division III institution in up to 18 sports (nine men’s, nine women’s) throughout the year, awarding points based on each team’s finish.
The Owls won regular season titles in field hockey, women's soccer, men's and women's cross country, women's swimming, women's lacrosse and men's lacrosse, as well as tournament championships in field hockey, women's soccer, men's and women's cross country, men's lacrosse, and softball. KSC picked up 103 points in the fall, 124 in winter, and 50 in spring to finish with 277 points.
Williams College wins this year’s Directors’ Cup with 1,225.25 points for its 17th title. Wisconsin-Whitewater finished second with 1,134.75 points and Johns Hopkins third with 977.50 points.
