KEENE, N.H. - The 2018-2019 academic year continues to wind down, but the men's lacrosse and outdoor track and field teams continue action this week.
Fresh off winning their sixth consecutive Little East Conference tournament championship and tenth overall after a 24-10 win over Plymouth State University, Keene State will find out their NCAA tournament draw when the selection show airs at 9:00 p.m. tonight (Sunday, May 5). The Owls, winners of nine straight, raced out to an 18-2 lead against PSU and were never threatened. Connor Nolan had six goals and an assist in the title game and was named the tournament's Most Outstanding Player, while Dave Wiedenfeld set a new single-season assist record, currently sitting at 39. The first and second rounds of the 2019 NCAA Division III Men's Lacrosse tournament will take place on Tuesday, May 7 and Wednesday, May 8. The third round is on Saturday, May 11. Outdoor Track and Field
The Owls will head to New Haven, Conn. and Southern Connecticut State University for the Open New England Championships on Friday, May 10 and Saturday, May 11.
