Senior Riley Steele, from Sutton, Mass., was named the Keene State Athlete of the Week, after playing important roles on both ends of the field. The midfielder tallied one goal, added two assists, and was stalwart on defense to help keep the Owls undefeated. In a 2-1 victory over Castleton, Steele registered the first goal in the 41st minute, when the senior slide a ball between the post and the goalie to give Keene State the lead, before adding an assist to the game-deciding goal in the 68th minute. In a 1-0 shutout win over No. 25 UMass Boston, Steele sent the long pass into the box that setup the game-winning goal with 1:05 remaining in double overtime to seal the victory.
