Reigning LEC Rookie of the year who look to build on a fantastic freshman campaign...another backbone of the Owls defense...has a rocket for a shot and will be used on penalty corners often.

2010: named Little East Conference rookie of the year as voted on by the league's coaches...started all 22 of the Owls game from day one...finished the season with three goals, three assists and a defensive save...scored a goal in her first career game against Western New England (9/1)...scored the game-winner to hand UMass Dartmouth their only conference loss of the season (10/30) and was named womensfieldhockey.com rookie of the week for her efforts...had a defensive save against Castleton State (9/20)...named to womensfieldhockey.com All-rookie team.

Before KSC:  Comes to Keene State after starting the past four years at Newfound (N.H.) Regional…completed scholastic career by earning first-team All-State honors and being named Class M-S player of the year….also selected as the team MVP and played in Twin-State field hockey classic….received second team All-State honors as a junior as well as coaches’ award…2006, 2008 and 2009 Bear teams captured State championship and were runners-up in 2007….a three-sport athletes who was also a member of school’s basketball and softball teams.

Personal: Katlyn plans to major in elementary education at Keene State.
