Six From Keene State Field Hockey Named To NFHCA All-Academic Squad

CHANDLER, Ariz.--Six members of the Keene State College field hockey team were named to the National Field Hockey Coaches Association All-Academic Squad, and one was named as an NFHCA Scholar of Distinction.

Sophomores Julia Babbitt, Mia Brickley, and Gwendolyn Thayer, and seniors Kayla Renaud, Brittney Cardente, and Sami Smith were named to the All-Academic squad, which includes all student-athletes with a cumulative grade-point average of 3.30 or greater through the first semester of the 2016-17 academic year.

Additionally, Smith was named as an NFHCA Scholar of Distinction.  The Zag Field Hockey/NFHCA Division III Scholars of Distinction have achieved a cumulative GPA of 3.90 or greater through the first semester of the 2016-17 academic year.
