KEENE, N.H. - Seniors Bryan Rotatori, Robert Hart and Ryan Askham of the Keene State men's lacrosse program were recognized for their impressive performances during the 2017 campaign, as they earned honors from the New England Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (NEILA), it was announced today.
Rotatori, the 2017 Little East Conference (LEC) Offensive Player of the Year and four-time all-conference honoree, was named to the NEILA All-New England Second Team for his outstanding senior season. From Grafton, Mass., Rotatori led the team in assists with 27 and became the Keene State all-time assists leader earlier this season, finishing his career with 112 assists. The midfielder also tallied 38 goals and picked up 99 ground balls with 20 caused turnovers, while going 98-for-163 in the faceoff 'x'.
Hart and Askham both received NEILA All-New England Honorable Mention recognition.
A native of Londonderry, N.H., Hart was an essential part of the Owls' league-leading offensive line, as the attackman topped the team with 83 points from 57 goals and 26 assists, while collecting 41 ground balls. A four-time all-conference selection, Hart finished his career as Keene State's all-time leading scorer with 186 goals and 98 assists to combine for 284 points.
Askham, from Manchester, N.H., was instrumental on both ends of the field in the defensive midfield position, as the three-time all-conference selection registered three goals, two assists, 37 ground balls and six caused turnovers.
Rotatori, Hart and Askham helped Keene State earn their fourth consecutive LEC regular season and Championship titles, as well as earn the Owls' eighth overall NCAA Tournament appearance.
