Sisco and Musto to Play in NEISL All-Star Game
KEENE, N.H. 11/23/10 – Keene State seniors Luke Sisco (Pine Plains, N.Y.) and Rob Musto (Guilford, Conn.) have been selected to play in the New England Intercollegiate Soccer League (NEISL) All-Star game. The game will be on Sunday, Nov. 28 at Harvard University (1 p.m.).
Both Sisco and Musto were mainstays on a Keene State team that captured the Little East Conference regular season and tournament titles this fall and earned a berth in the NCAA tournament.
Starting for the Owls at midfield, Sisco, a captain, saved his best for last, scoring both goals in the teams’ LEC semifinal tournament victory over UMass-Dartmouth and assisting on the game-winning goal in the finals against Rhode Island College.
Playing at outside left back for KSC, Musto help lead an Owl defense that posted five shutouts and allowed just six goals in the teams’ seven conference games this season.
Keene State completed its season with a 14-5-2 record.
