Boraski Named CSCAA Scholar All-American; Men's and Women's Teams Also Honored

NORFOLK, Va.--Recent Keene State College graduate and All-American swimmer Ryan Boraski was named a College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association (CSCAA) Scholar All-American, while both the men's and women's teams were named as Scholar All-America teams.

To be a CSCAA Scholar All-American, a student-athlete must maintain a GPA of over 3.50 and have participated in the NCAA, NAIA, or NJCAA National Championships.

A native of North Attleboro, Mass., Boraski finished his career as a nine-time All-American and a two-time honorable mention All-American.   He owns or shares the school record in the 50 freestyle, 100 freestyle, 200 freestyle, 100 individual medley, 200 free relay, 400 free relay, 200 medley relay, and 400 medley relay.   He was named the Keene State College Senior Male Athlete of the Year.

The men's and women's teams were chosen to Scholar All-American status.  Scholar All-America teams maintained a GPA of 3.0 during the Spring 2017 semester.  The KSC women checked in with a GPA of 3.32 and the men had a GPA of 3.05.
