Shadeck Wins 400 IM At NEISDA Championships

KINGSTON, R.I.--Kyle Shadeck won the 400 IM as the third day of the New England Intercollegiate Swimming and Diving Association Championships concluded on Saturday.

Women

The relay team of Hannah Wood, Olivia Pechulis, Sophie Hayes, and Margaret Dean placed third in the 200 individual medley relay in 1:49.63, while Rachel Mackinnon was third in the "B" final of the the 200 freestyle in 2:04.22.  

Wood was fourth overall in the 100 backstroke in 1:00.89, and Madison Pechulis was fourth in the 100 breaststroke in 1:08.57.  

The Keene State women remain in third place after three days, with 713 points.  

Men

Kyle Shadeck won the 400 IM in 4:00.85, just off the school record of 3:59.16 set by Drew Ledwith in 2012.

Shadeck, Antony Hubbard, JT Barth, and Eric King took home fourth place in the 200 medley relay in 1:39.78, and Eric King was in third in the 100 breaststroke in 1:01.01. 

 The Owls are still in fifth place after three days of competition, with 261.5 points.
