Track and Field Competes at New England Division III Championships

CAMBRIDGE, Mass.--Several members of the Keene State College track and field team competed on the final day of the New England Division III Championships at Massachusetts Institute of Technology on Saturday.

Clinton Mungeta won his heat in the 400 meters, finishing in 51.00 seconds to place 18th overall.  Brandon Castor was 25th in 51.75 seconds.  Castor and Mungeta, along with Anthony Jennings and Jared Hannon made up the 4x400 meter relay team that was ninth overall, in 3:25.68.

Alex Medina, Ian Connell, Tyler DeChane, and Zach Coburn comprised the 4x800 meter relay unit that was 12th in 8:11.21.    In women's action, Nicole De Almeida, Brittany Gravallese, Taylor Bisaillon, and Lynne Hebert were the foursome who finished 13th in the 4x400 meter relay in 4:12.21, while Erin McNemar was tied for 20th in the high jump at 1.54 meters.

The KSC men finished in 25th place with six points.   The season continues next weekend at the Open New England Championships.
