Craig MacPherson, Sophomore, Men's Indoor Track

MacPherson didn't waste any time qualifying for a return trip to the Division IIII Indoor Track and Field Championships.  The sophomore from Derry, N.H. placed second in the mile with a NCAA provisional qualifying time of 4:11.66 at the 40th Annual Dartmouth Relays held Sunday at the Laverone Field House in Hanover.  MacPherson, who earned All-American honors with his third place finish in the mile at last year's national meet, also teamed with seniors Peter Najem (Derry, N.H.) and Pat Craven (North Kingstown, R.I.), and sophomore Jeff Trethewey (Merrimack, N.H.) to place second in the distance medley relay (10:32.04).
