Hoyt Named LEC Runner of the Week

KEENE, N.H. 11/14/11 – Keene State College senior cross country runner Kevin Hoyt was named the Little East Conference Runner of the week after qualifying for the NCAA Championships next week at Wisconsin-Oshkosh. The Newtown, Conn. native earned all-Region honors with his ninth place performance at the NCAA East Regional Championships.

Hoyt was the top Little East competitor at the 2011 NCAA Division III New England Regional this past weekend. The senior from Newtown, Conn. completed the 8K course in a time of 25 minutes, two seconds to place ninth overall and earn an at-large berth into the NCAA Division III Championship field.
