A Closer Look: 2017 Cross Country Schedule

KEENE, N.H.--The Keene State College cross country teams will hit the trails at seven different courses this year, as the Owls look to maintain their status as one of the top teams in New England.


The Owls will welcome alumni back to Owl Athletic Complex for the season opening Alumni Invitational on September 2, and will return to the trails two weeks later for the UMass Dartmouth Invitational on September 16.  

KSC will again be in action two weeks later, hosting the Keene State College Invitational on September 30.


On October 7, the Owls will run at the NEICCCA Championships at Franklin Park in Roxbury, Mass., followed by the Connecticut College Invitational on October 14.  The Little East Conference championships are up next, at the University of Southern Maine on October 28.  The Owl women will be shooting for their 18th straight championship, while the men will look for their fifth title in six seasons.


The ECAC Championships are slated for November 7, followed by the NCAA New England Regional on November 11, against hosted by the University of Southern Maine.  Any qualifiers for the full NCAA Division III Championships will run on November 18 at Principia College in Elsah, Ill.
