Erin Taylor, Sophomore, Women's Lacrosse

Taylor backstopped Keene State to its third Little East Women’s Lacrosse Championship in the past four years this past week, posting a 2-0 record with a 6.5 goals against average. The sophomore from Brewster, N.Y. registered her second-highest save total (14) on the season in the championship against fifth-seeded Western Connecticut. Taylor collected 11 of her 14 stops in the second stanza to keep the Colonials offensive attack at-bay. Earlier in the week, she made six stops against third-seeded Eastern Connecticut in the semifinal victory.

Taylor was named the LEC Tournament Most Outstanding Player for her efforts.

KSC will head to Amherst College for their first round NCAA Tournament game on Wednesday night at 7 p.m.
