Sophomore swimmer who made an immediate impact in free and fly sprints and relays...holds KSC records in the 50 free (23.66), the 100 free (52.21) 50 fly (24.98)...also a meber of record 200 free relay (1:36.89), 400 free relay (3:32.67), 200 medley relay (1:45.49) and 400 medley relay (3:53.84)...As a freshman: earned All-American honors as a member of Owls’ 200 medley relay…received honorable mention All-American recognition in the 50 free and as a member of KSC’s 200 and 400 free and medley relays.. named NEISDA swimmer of the meet after winning the 50 fly, 50 and 100 free and as a member of 400 free and 200 and 400 medley relays…named LEC rookie of the year…was conference champ in the 50 free and as a member of the Owls’ 200 medley and 400 free relays…High School:  comes to Keene State after a standout scholastic career on Chelmsford High team that had a undefeated Merrimack Valley Conference campaign and a Division I state championship....a member of winning and school record-setting 200 free relay team (1:51.21)...also swam on champion 4x200 medley relay and placed third in the 50 free (24.75)....a two-time member of the Boston Globe and Boston Herald All-Scholastic teams....a league MVP and All-star....Kaila is a elementary education major.
