Owls Nipped By Hawks In Dual Meet

BRISTOL, R.I.--The Keene State College swimming and diving teams fell to Roger Wiliams University in a dual meet on Saturday.  The Hawks topped the KSC women 181-107, while the men won 207-87.

Women's Highlights

Sophie Hayes picked up KSC's lone two swimming wins, placing first in the 200 fly in 2:16.88, while also touching in first in the 100 fly in 1:02.30. 

Jessica Masotta won the 1-meter and 3-meter dives, scoring 176.32 and 167.25, respectively.  Brianna Feldman was second on both, with scores of 169.80 on the 1-meter and 162.60 on the 3-meter.

The 200 medley relay unit of Katie Brandeberry, Madison Pechulis, Hayes, and Samantha Dickinson was second in 1:55.07, while Brandeberry was second in both the 100 back in 1:03.12, the 50 free (26.44), and the 100 free in 1:21.02, where .01 seconds separated each of the top six places.

Men's Highlights

Kyle Shadeck also had two victories, with a time of 1:59.35 to win the 200 fly, and also taking the 100 fly in 53.32.  He was also second in the 400 IM in 4:30.61.

George Colarullo won the 1 meter dive, scoring 231.45 to win by 1.20 points, and also won on the 3-meter board, scoring 236.85.
