KEENE, N.H.--Sophomore George Colarullo won the 1-meter dive with a strong performance on the third day of the New England Intercollegiate Swimming and Diving Association Championships.
Colarullo won with a score of 405.90, nearly a 10 point win over the second placed competitor. Zach Payne, Eric King, Patrick Doyle, and Quint Kimmel made up the 200 medley relay team that finished fifth in 1:38.66.
Katie Brandeberry was in second place in the 200 freestyle in 1:55.84, just .05 seconds out of first place. Madison Pechulis was third in the 100 breaststroke in 1:08.24, and was also part of the 200 medley relay team that finished in second place, along with Brandeberry, Kristyn Simoneau, and Sophie Hayes in 1:49.55.
Brianna Feldman added a sixth place finish on the 1-meter board, scoring 327.05.
Through three days, the Owl women are in fourth place with 349 points, just 11 points out of third placed Brandeis. The men are sixth with 129 points. The competition wraps up on Sunday.
