Five ECAC Qualifying Marks Hit At Silfen Invitational

NEW LONDON, Conn.--Several members of the Keene State College women's  track and field team hit qualifying marks for the ECAC Championships at the Silfen Invitational at Connecticut College on Saturday.

Women's Highlights

Alana Olendorf qualified in the 3,000 meter steeplechase, in 12:40.15, and Erin McNemar did so in the high jump at 1.49 meters.  Taylor Bisaillon also qualified in the shot put, with a throw of 10.49 meters, as did Dominique Pascoal in the javelin, throwing 32.88 meters.  

Additionally, the relay team of Mila Barrera, Laura Dawson, Lynne Hebert, and Kate Lynch qualified for the ECAC Championships in the 4x800, with a time of 10:27.92.  

Men's Highlights

Top finishers for the Keene State men include Brandon Castor, who ran the 200 meters in 23.10, and Ian Connell, who finished the steeplechase in 10:20.58.   The relay foursome of Castor, Clinton Mungeta, Anthony Jennings, and Alex Medina completed the 4x400 in 3:37.45.
