Bisaillon, Gravallese Punch Ticket For New England Division III Championships

BOSTON, Mass.--Brittany Gravallese and Taylor Bisaillon assured themselves of places at the New England Division III Championships at the Branwen Smith King Invitational at Tufts University on Saturday.

Women's Highlights

  • Gravallese ran 2:24.53 to place third in the women's 800 meters and qualify for New England Division III Championship.  She will be joined by Bisaillon, who had a lifetime best of 11.81 meters in the shot put to place fifth.
  • Lynne Hebert ran a lifetime best of 3:12.44 in the 1000 meters for tenth overall.
  • Bisaillon also placed sixth on the 600m run with a 1:45.48.
  • Nicole De Almeida placed sixth in the 400m dash with a season best 1:02.98.
  • DeAlmeida, Bisaillon, Gravallese, and Hebert also combined for fourth place in the 4x400 meter relay with a time of 4:15.67.

Men's Highlights

  • Brandon Castor continued his strong freshman campaign with a season best of 52.61 for eighth place in the 400 meter dash.
  • Tyler DeChane ran a season best 2:02.93 at 800 meters for 12th place.
  • Castor teamed with Jared Hannon, Anthony Jennings, and Alex Medina for third place in the 4x400 meter relay with a season best time of 3:33.25.
