Meggie Donovan enters her first year with the Owls as an assistant coach for the cross country and track & field teams. Donovan comes to Keene State after serving as the women’s head cross country and track & field coach at Manchester Central (N.H.) High School in 2015-16.
Prior to Manchester Central she had success as a Division I student-athlete at Dartmouth College competing all four years in cross country and track & field. On the track she focused on the 800m, running a personal best of 2:06.99. Some of her favorite collegiate memories include Dartmouth winning the Ivy League Championship in cross country her junior and senior year and setting a regional record in the 4x1 mile relay at Penn Relays her junior year.
Donovan is thrilled to be working with Keene State’s distance athletes and is excited to help them grow as both athletes and individuals during their collegiate careers.
On top of coaching, Donovan is a full-time graduate student working towards her MS in Environmental Education from Antioch New England and her MA in English Literature from Middlebury College. When she’s not training for the marathon, she loves to read, hike and rock climb.
