Sophomore runner looking to come into her own after suffering a series of injuries as a freshman as she adapted to running all three seasons…made steady progress and should have a breakout season for KSC…will run the mile 1,500 on the track.

2010-11: Cross Country:  Keene State’s top finisher at the ECAC Championship (24:52)…posted a season best time with her 24th place finish (21:19) at the LEC Championships…Track:  Finished 13th (1:51.70) in the indoor 600 at the LEC meet and eighth (5:10.67) in the 1,500 at the conference outdoor championship.

Before KSC:  Ran four seasons of cross country for the Trojans, earning first-team All-Conference honors as a senior…was fifth runner on freshmen team that won state (Class B) title and placed 11th overall at New England meet….ran outdoor track as a senior, posting PR time of 5:48 in the mile…4x800 team placed third at state meet…also played softball and basketball at Mt. Desert High…basketball squad were Eastern Maine runners-up.

Personal: Younger brother Ben is a soccer and baseball player at Mt. Desert Island and mother Cheryl was a cheerleader at MDI…Mackenzie is a nutrition major.
