Keene State women's cross country team earns USTFCCA All-Academic honors
KEENE, N.H. 2/15/12 – The Keene State College women’s cross country received All-Academic honors by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) on Wednesday.
The Owls were one of 187 Division III teams representing 38 conferences to be recognized.
To qualify as a USTFCCCA All-Academic Cross Country Team, the team must have had a cumulative team GPA of 3.10 through the 2011 fall semester. The Owls had a 3.27 team GPA.
The Owls also had a successful season on the trails, capturing their 12th consecutive Little East Conference championship. Senior Paige Mills, the LEC runner of the year, earned All-American honors with her 17th place finish at the NCAA Championships.
