    Keene State Women's Cross Country Team, Three Owls Earn USTFCCCA All-Academic Honors NEW ORLEANS, La. - The Keene State women's cross country team has been recognized for their achievements during the 2016 cross country season and their sustained academic excellence at Keene State College, earning U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) Division III Team All-Academic honors. Senior Lindsay Szuch, senior Katelyn Terry, and junior Philip Parent from the women's and men's cross country programs have also been given the the distinction as Division III Individual All-Academic honorees.

They are two of the most decorated student-athletes in the history of Keene State and the Little East Conference, winning a combined nine National Championships in cross country and track and field during their four-year careers.

    Szuch and Pickering Collect Little East Conference Major Awards PAWTUCKET, R.I. - The Keene State women's cross country team earned two Little East Conference (LEC) Major Awards, as senior Lindsay Szuch was named the LEC Women's Runner of the Year after dominant performances throughout the 2016 campaign and Head Coach Tom Pickering repeated as the LEC Women's Coach of the Year after leading the women's cross country team to its 17th consecutive LEC victory.

    Szuch A Good Runner KEENE, N.H.--Lindsay Szuch’s flirtation with running was supposed to be short-lived. Her mother suggested that Lindsay, who attended a really small elementary school in her hometown of Stratford, Connecticut, could get to know some people by joining the cross country team when she went to the much larger Frank Scott Bunnnell High School.

    Queens of 17; KSC Women Continue Cross Country Dominance With 17th Straight Title NORTH DARTMOUTH, Mass.--No matter the location, no matter the year, since the year 2000, there is one constant at the Little East Conference women's cross country championships; that Keene State College places first. It was no different this year as the Owls took four of the top 10 places en route to their 17th consecutive championship.

    LEC#30 Top Moment | Keene State Cross Country Dominates PAWTUCKET, R.I. - As the decision to expand sport championship sponsorships for the Little East Conference, the first sport added were the men’s and women’s cross country championships in 1988-1989. For the first nine seasons, the UMass Dartmouth’s men’s cross country team dominated, winning all nine Little East Championships. When Keene State College joined the conference as a full-time member in 1997, the momentum shifted in the direction of the Owls. The Owls’ men’s cross country team would win the next nine Little East Championships (1997-2005). The men’s cross country program has now totaled 15 Little East Conference championships, including the last four between 2012 and 2015.
