Head Strength & Conditioning Coach- Sarah Testo
Sarah Testo is entering her 17th year as the strength & conditioning coach at Keene State. Testo develops and implements in-season and off-season strength & conditioning programs for 16 varsity teams. Testo earned her B.S in health science from Keene State College where she was a four-year member of the Keene State Women’s Soccer Team. Testo also received a master’s degree in exercise science from Springfield College and is a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength & Conditioning Association and a Performance Enhancement Specialist through the National Academy of Sports Medicine. Prior to Keene State Testo worked at Mike Boyle’s Strength & Conditioning and interned at University of Tulsa and Boston University respected Strength & Conditioning programs. Testo is also an Assistant Coach for the Women’s Soccer and an Adjunct in the Human Performance and Movement Science program. The role of the Strength & Conditioning program is to help in the prevention of injuries, develop mental toughness, and develop the athlete physically for the demands of their sport. We aim to have student-athletes leave the program with a superior work ethic and the tools for lifelong fitness.
Assistant Strength & Conditioning Coach- Jesse O'Bryan
Jesse is entering his second year as an Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach at Keene State. In 2016 he earned a B.S. in Sport Management from Lasell College in Newton, Massachusetts. As a Certified Personal Trainer, Sports Conditioning Specialist and Parisi Performance Coach, O’Bryan has trained people of all different ages and abilities in a variety of settings. He has also contributed as a consultant for several different health & wellness organizations including LifeCycle Wellness in Quechee VT. As a Strength and Conditioning Coach, Jesse aims to mitigate injuries and increase athletic performance.
Student Assistant Strength & Conditioning Coach- Julia Babbitt
Julia is entering her senior year and second year with the Strength and Conditioning staff at Keene State. She will graduate in the Spring with a B.S in Exercise Science, Human Performance, and a Minor in Addictions. Julia is working towards certifications in Personal Training and Strength and Conditioning with the hopes of training athletes to enhance performance while also improving overall fitness in general population. Julia has worked in a variety of settings, gaining experience with several types of clients. Her experiences include preseason training of Division 1 athletes at Quinnipiac University and women’s-only training. Julia also has personal experience with strength and conditioning as a member of the Keene State Field Hockey Team.

This award is sponsored by the National Strength & Conditioning Association, which is the leading organization and certifying body in the field of strength & conditioning. The NSCA recognizes collegiate student-athletes at the Division I, II, & III levels for there hard work, dedication and commitment to the strength & conditioning programs at their respective schools.
