Parks (Reading, Mass.), the LEC Field Athlete of the Week, had an impressive showing at the Yellow Jacket Invitational in Springfield, winning the hammer throw with a toss of 40.95 meters while also breaking her own school record in the shot put at 12.43 meters, a throw that is currently the 36th best in the nation.
