Keene State College

Keene State College junior Shannon Parks (Reading, Mass.) is an Owl Athlete of the Week after winning the shot put in her team's third-place finish at the LEC championships in North Dartmouth, Mass. this past weekend.  She broke her own school record for the second time this season with a throw of 12.45 meters.  The next closest competitor threw 11.55 meters.  Parks was one of three Owls to win events at the meet, joining Alexis Gauthier and Nicole De Almeida.
