KEENE, N.H. - The Keene State College athletic department and the Little East Conference have announced changes to the upcoming men's soccer playoffs for this weekend.
The No. 2 seeded Keene State Owls will now host either No. 3 seed Rhode Island College or No. 6 seed UMass Dartmouth on Friday, November 8. That game will kick off at 7:00 pm from Dr. Ron Butcher Field. Rhode Island College and UMass Dartmouth will square off tonight (Wednesday) at La Salle Academy in Providence, R.I. at 6:00 pm. Their game originally scheduled for Tuesday was postponed due to unplayable field conditions at Alumni Field on the campus of Rhode Island College.
The championship game will now be held on Sunday, November 10 with a time and location to be determined following Friday's semifinal games.
The No. 4 seed Western Connecticut State University Colonials have advanced after defeating No. 5 seed UMass Boston 1-0 in penalty kicks last night. The Colonials will travel to top seed Eastern Connecticut on Friday, November 8 for a 6:00 pm start time in the other semifinal.
