    TORRINGTON, Conn. 7/12/2010 – Keene State College sophomore pitcher Tim Thiesing (South Grafton, Mass.) has been signed by the Torrington Titans of the Atlantic Collegiate Baseball League (ACBL). The Titans, who have been ravaged by injuries, added Thiesing to bolster their pitching staff.

    AUBURN, N.Y. 5/21/10 – Keene State College’s season came to a close with a 5-2 loss to Oneonta State at the NCAA Division III baseball regional tournament at Falcon Park on Friday morning. The fifth seeded Owls, who posted a 1-2 mark in the tournament, conclude their season with a 27-17-1 record. Oneonta (30-12), the third seed, will play the winner of the game between Castleton State/Farmingdale State later today.

It’s been a long, but satisfying season for the senior receiver from Glastonbury, Conn. In addition to his steady defensive play, he’s also contributed offensively, batting a career-high .390 going into this weekend’s Little East Conference baseball tournament.

    KEENE, N.H. 5/7/10 – The Keene State College baseball team celebrated senior day, by clinching at least a share of the 2010 Little East Conference regular season championships with a 8-7, 12-0 sweep of UMass-Dartmouth on Friday afternoon at Owl Athletic Complex. The Owls conclude their regular season 25-13-1 and 10-4 in LEC play, while UMass-Dartmouth falls to 20-17 and 7-7 in league play.
