    NORTH DARTMOUTH, Mass. – Keene State College is the top athletic program in the Little East Conference for the 12th consecutive campaign, according to the 2011-12 Little East Commissioner’s Cup standings released by the conference office this afternoon. The Owls finished either first or second in the final regular season standings in 11 of their 17 conference sponsored sports (.647) to average 7.8974 points on a scale of eight.

The rain is expected to subside around 11:30 a.m. and the tournament will tentatively restart at 1 p.m. With Keene State having the third game fo the day, that contest has been pushed to Friday morning at 9:30 a.m.

The Owls are one of six teams that have qualified for the double-elimination Little East Conference baseball tournament that begins Wednesday at the University of Southern Maine in Gorham. The Huskies earned the right to host the tournament after sweeping Eastern Conn. in a doubleheader last Saturday.
