McCall Selected To NFHCA All-Star Game

GILBERT, Ariz.--Keene State College senior defender Ally McCall has been selected to the Victory Sports Tours/NFHCA Division III Senior Game, it was announced today by the National Field Hockey Coaches Association.

The game is slated to be played at 5 p.m. at the Spooky Nook Sports Complex in Manheim, Pa., following the completion of the NCAA Division III semifinal games.

McCall, a native of Watertown, Mass., is in her third year at Keene State after transferring from the University of Vermont.   In 63 career games (all of them starts) at KSC, she's scored 10 goals and assisted on 34 more, while earning Second Team All-LEC Honors her sophomore year.   Her junior year, she was chosen as First Team All-LEC Player, the LEC Defensive Player of the Year, and the Most Outstanding Player of the LEC tournament in 2018, as well as being named to the NFHCA Second Team All-Region.

In her two previous seasons, the Owls have won a pair of LEC tournament championships and reached the second round of the NCAA Division III championship.  McCall is the tenth Owl to be selected for the NFHCA Senior Game, joining Erica Stauffer (2018), Kayla Renaud and Sami Smith (2016), Aimee Donaruma and Katlyn Simula (2013), Elizabeth Coffin and Aislynn Sherry (2011), and Carly Benning and current KSC assistant coach Erin Dallas (2009).
