• Twenty-Nine KSC Fall Student-Athletes Named to LEC All-Academic Team

    N. Dartmouth, Mass. 1/11/11 – Twenty-nine Keene State College fall student-athletes were named to the Little East Conference Fall All-Academic team. To be eligible, the student athlete must at least be a sophomore and have a 3.3 cumulative grade point average.

    KEENE, N.H. 11/23/10 – Keene State seniors Luke Sisco (Pine Plains, N.Y.) and Rob Musto (Guilford, Conn.) have been selected to play in the New England Intercollegiate Soccer League (NEISL) All-Star game. The game will be on Sunday, Nov. 28 at Harvard University (1 p.m.).

Playing in unfamiliar territory, just outside of New York City and on a field-turf surface, the Owls gave it everything they had before falling to Muhlenberg University 2-0 at De Baun Athletic Complex in Hoboken N.J. on Saturday.

Making their first trip to the NCAA Tournament since 2007, the Owls (14-4-2) will play Muhlenberg College (11-2-6) from Allentown, Pa. in their opening-round game at Steven Institute of Technology in Hoboken, N.J. on Saturday.

    KEENE, N.H. 10/13/10 – A senior on the Keene State College men’s soccer team, Luke Sisco says he comes from a “get-up and go family.” That probably helps to explain why in his final year at Stissing Mountain (N.Y.) High School, he not only played soccer, but also football, basketball, and tennis. Just for good measure, the Pine Plains, N.Y., native was also a member of the school’s orchestra and marching band and even found time in his busy schedule to be in the senior school play, “Beauty and the Beast.”
