Owls Continue On Second Day at NEISDA

CAMBRIDGE, Mass.--Competition rolled on for the Keene State College swimming and diving teams on the second day of the New England Intercollegiate Swimming and Diving Association Championships at MIT's Alumni Pool on Friday.

Women's Highlights

The Owls won the 400 medley relay in 4:00.50, led by Samantha Dickinson, Olivia Pechulis, Sophie Hayes, and Katie Brandeberry.   KSC added a second place finish in the 200 free relay, as Dickinson, Katie Brandeberry, Kristyn Simoneau, and Molly O'Connor finished in 1:39.08.

Madison Pechulis won the 50 breaststroke in 30.72 seconds, and Hayes grabbed a win in the 100 fly in 58.45, while Brandeberry was second in the 200 IM in 2:10.72.

Men's Highlights

Zach Payne was the second place finisher in the 200 IM, in 1:56.61, and in diving, George Colarullo was the winner of the 1-meter preliminary dive by scoring 396.25.
