Keene State Softball To Strike Out Cancer At Glenn Colburn Memorial Tournament

KEENE, N.H.--The Keene State College softball team will be hosting the annual Glenn Colburn Memorial Alumni and Friends Tournament to benefit cancer research on Sunday, October 13 at Owl Athletic Complex.

The tournament is held in honor of Glenn Colburn, a Keene native who umpired at the NCAA Division I, II, and III levels and passed away from pancreatic cancer in 2014. 

The tournament will be a Chicago-style slow pitch event, with teams of 10 players and games lasting 45 minutes each.  All proceeds raised will be donated to the Dana-Farber Institute.  For more information or to register, please contact KSC head coach Carrah Fisk-Hennessey '99 at 603-358-2820 or carrah.fisk.hennessey@keene.edu.  Games begin at 11 a.m.
