    NORTH DARTMOUTH, Mass. 6/8/11 –The Little East Conference office announced its annual Little East Spring All-Academic teams, honoring student-athletes in the sports of baseball, men’s and women’s lacrosse, softball, men’s tennis, and men’s and women’s outdoor track and field.

    Eight members of the Keene State College women's lacrosse team as well as senior men's track and field athlete, Bryan Kolacz, were honored in a ppecial graduation ceremony on May 9th. The ceremony was held because the athletes had to miss the Commencement Ceremony on Saturday due to athletic competition. Here is a video recapping the special ceremony.
  • NCAA Women's Lacrosse: Owls Fall to Cortland 21-3

    CORTLAND, MASS. 5/11/11 – The Keene State women’s lacrosse team picked the wrong time to play Cortland State. After an early exit in last year’s NCAA tournament, the Red Dragons, who were making their 13th straight NCAA appearance, came out breathing fire this time around. Unable to extinguish the fire, the Owls saw their season come to an end with a 21-3 loss to the Red Dragons in a first-round NCAA tournament game played at Cortland Stadium Complex on Wednesday.

    NORTH DARTMOUTH, Mass. 5/10/11 – Keene State College senior women’s lacrosse player Jamie Albert (Southington, Conn.) was honored by the Little East Conference coaches by being named All-Little East 1st Team, as announced by the league office Tuesday afternoon.

    MANSFIELD, CONN. 5/7/11 – The Keene State College women’s lacrosse team doesn’t mind playing Little East Conference championship games on the road. For the second time in three years, the second seeded Owls captured the conference crown on enemy turf, defeating top seed Eastern Conn. State University 15-8 in Mansfield, Conn. on Saturday.
