CORTLAND, N.Y. – The Keene State College volleyball team wrapped up the Red Dragon Classic with a win and a loss on Saturday at Park Center. The Owls swept Wells College 3-0 (25-21, 25-22, 25-17) before falling to SUNY Fredonia 3-2 (14-25, 25-18, 25-21, 22-25, 13-15).

How It Happened
KSC opened the day by posting their second consecutive win in straight-sets, sweeping Wells. Megan Palmer had 14 more kills, 12 digs and two solo blocks. Olivia Mathieu chipped in 15 digs and a pair of service aces, while setter Bailey Wilson had 30 assists, three kills and two digs. Overall, the Owls had 53 digs to Wells' 33. The Express were also limited to a .057 hitting percentage.
The Owls dropped a five-set match to Fredonia in their final match of the classic. KSC won two of the first three sets, but the Blue Devils rallied to win by taking the final two sets. Palmer had 13 more kills, 20 digs and a pair of service aces for Keene State. She already has 57 kills through four matches in her sophomore season after having 99 all of last season. Riley Bunker had 27 digs, while Wilson had 39 assists, 11 digs and a .444 hitting percentage for the match.
Palmer and Elizabeth Johnson were named to the All-Tournament team.
