Perkowski, Pearl Are Standouts At Keene State College Invitational

KEENE, N.H.--Senior Lauren Perkowski won the Keene State College Invitational with a dominating performance in a field of nearly 200 runners on Saturday at Owl Athletic Complex.

Women's Results

Perkowski paced the field of 193, taking an early lead and ultimately covering the 5K course in 18:06.1.  Lynne Hebert was 27th in 19:23.6, while Christina Martin was 41st in 19:46.9.  Skyler Gauthier was 79th in 20:44.7, while Alexis Gauthier (83rd, 20:49.4), Chloe Page (85th, 20:50.2), Sarah Bialkin (138th, 22:33.2), and Kara Guinan (154th, 23:18.0) completed the KSC runners.   The Owls placed seventh overall as a team; Williams College took home the team title.

Men's Results

Freshman Jacob Pearl also put in a strong performance, finishing fourth out of 193 with an 8K time of 26:17.9.   Robby St. Laurent was 37th in 27:39.4, and Zach Coburn was 62nd in 28:24.4.  Williams College also won the men's team race, while Suffolk's Matyas Csiki-Fejer was the individual medalist in 25:57.3.
