Hallett (Dover, N.H.) had one of the bigger hits of the week for the KSC softball team as they rallied to snatch the sixth and final playoff spot over the course of the week.  Against UMass-Boston in a pair of must-win games, the Owl sophomore transfer came through with two outs in the bottom of the eighth inning, slicing a single down the right field line to give KSC a 2-1 win.  The Owls would go on to roll in the second game 8-0 in five innings, and then two days later, got the other results around the league (Plymouth State beating Western Connecticut at least once) they needed to get in.
