Keene, NH 4/22/02 - Michelle Mason (Fairport, N.Y.) had six
goals and three assists and Natalie Kent (Billerica, MA.) finished
with two goals and an Owl record six assists to lead the Keene
State College women's lacrosse team to a 19-3 non-conference
victory over Castleton State College in Keene on Monday.
Keene State improves to 8-4; one game shy of tying the program
mark for victories in a season set last year. Castleton State falls
to 3-6.
Michelle Roy (Keene, N.H.) added four goals and Erin Mehner
(Stamford, CT)finished with three goals in the game. Kent broke her
own assists record (5) set earlier this season against Salem State.
Meghan Carey (Rutland, Vt.) had two goals for the Spartans.
Making her second start of the season, Jaime Litch (Addison,
Vt.) made two saves for KSC while Kristen Nugent (Rutland, Vt.)
made 12 saves for Castleton.
Keene State will host Eastern CT on Wednesday (4 p.m.)
