'PANAMA CITY, FLA.  3/17/03 – The Keene State College women's lacrosse team opened up its 2003 season with a 12-5 victory over Endicott College in a game played Monday in Panama City, Fla.

Freshman Colleen Murphy (Mansfield, MA.) led the Owls' offense with four goals.  Four other players, Kristal Lundegaard (Babylon, N.Y.), Natalie Kent (Billerica, MA.), Erin Mehner (Stamford, CT), and Alexandra Manzin (Avon, CT) had two goals each.  Mehner also added two assists.

Jamie Litch (Addison, Vt.) with seven saves and Mandy Gray (Sharon, MA.) each played a half in goal.

Katy While led the Powergulls with three goals.

Keene State will play Messiah College of Pa., on Friday.
