'KEENE, N.H. 4/12/03 – Natalie Kent
(Billerica, MA.) had six goals and three assists t to lead the
Keene State College women's lacrosse team to a 19-2 Little East
Conference victory over R.I. College, Saturday at Owl Stadium
Complex.
With the victory, KSC (7-1, 1-0 LEC) tied the school record (6)
for consecutive wins. RIC falls to 2-4 (0-1 LEC).
Colleen Murphy (Mansfield, MA.) and Kristal Lundegaard (Babylon,
N.Y.) each finished with three goals. Murphy also added four
assists.
Danielle Beaudry (West Greenwich, R.I.) and Amanda Hutchins
(Gilmanton, N.H.) had goals for the Anchorwomen.
Keene State scored five goals in the first five minutes of play
on the way to building up an 11-1 halftime lead.
Mandy Gray (Sharon, MA.) made six saves to record her first
college win for KSC. Crystal Colagiovanni (Johnston, R.I.) with
four saves and Kristin Mandsager (Portsmouth, R.I.) with three
saves both saw action in goal for RIC.
Keene State will be at Salve Regina University on Monday (3:30
p.m.).
