'NORTH DARTMOUTH, MA. 4/27/03  –  The Keene State College women's lacrosse team lost a 10-7 Little East Conference game to UMA-Dartmouth on Sunday.

Keene State falls to 8-5 (2-3 LEC) while UMA-Dartmouth goes to 4-8 (1-3 LEC).

Lauren Saunders (Fremont, N.H.) had three goals and Colleen Murphy (Mansfield, MA.) had two goals for KSC.  Natalie Kent (Billerica, MA.) and Liz Maddocks (Essex, Vt.) also scored for the Owls.Mycena Kallechey and Mary Doherty had four goals each for the Corsairs.

Trailing 5-1 after the first half, KSC came back to take the lead 7-6 on a goal by Murphy with nine minutes remaining.  UMD however scored the next four goals to pull out the victory.

Jamie Litch (Addison, Vt.) (eight saves) and Mandy Gray (Sharon, MA.) (four saves) each played a half in goal for Keene State. Liz Holland made 15 saves for the Corsairs.

Keene State is at Eastern CT on Monday (4 p.m.)
