'KEENE, N.H. 3/23/04 - Michelle Mason (Fairport, N.Y.) and Colleen Murphy (Mansfield, Mass.) had four goals each to lead the Keene State College women's lacrosse team to a home-opening 10-2 victory over New England College at Owl Athletic Complex on Tuesday. 

Kristal Lundegaard (Babylon, N.Y.) and Lauren Saunders (Fremont, N.H.) also scored for the Owls (2-1).

Makaila Sinclair (Marblehead, Mass.) and Samantha Webb (Mountain Lakes, N.J) tallied goals for the Pilgrims (0-4).

Mason scored the only goal of the game in the first half.  After NEC scored to tie the game, KSC scored four goals in a span of four minutes to take a commanding 5-1 lead.  Mason scored three of the goals in the uprising.

Jamie Litch (Addison, Vt.) made four saves for KSC while Laura Bishop (Brunswick, Me.) turned aside 12 shots for NEC.

Keene State plays at Springfield College on Thursday (4 p.m.).
