'BRIDGEWATER, MASS. 4/26/05 - Michelle Mason (Fairport, N.Y.) continued her strong senior season with six goals, but it wasn't enough as Keene State lost to Bridgewater State 11-9 in a non-conference women's lacrosse game played Tuesday afternoon at Swenson Field in Bridgewater, Mass.

Bridgewater State went up 5-3 at the half and never relinquished the lead.  Erica Murphy (Weymouth, Mass.)tallied three goals in the second half with her third proving to be the game-winner.

Mason had a terrific game as she almost single-handedly kept KSC within reach.  Four of her six goals came in the second half.  Mandy Gray (Sharon, Mass.)also had a strong game in goal for the Owls with 13 saves.

Lauren Saunders (Fremont, N.H.) had two goals and Alex Manzin (Avon, Conn.) had a single goal for KSC.

Keene State (6-6) is off until Saturday when it hosts Southern Maine in a key Little East game.
