NEW LONDON, Conn.--Hayden Patterson and Ryan Brady both finished in the top 10 as the Keene State College men's cross country team finished fourth at the Connecticut College Invitational on Saturday.
Patterson was the fifth finisher in the 8K race, finishing in 25:56. Brady was KSC's second finisher, placing 10th overall with a time of 26:06. Philip Parent was 28th, with a time of 26:49, followed by Mark Rabasco in 41st in 27:03, and Patrick Chabot concluded the Keene State scorers in 27:40.
Sebastian Oja of New York University won the individual medalists honor, while the team race was also won by the Violets.
The Owls will be off until Nov. 1, when they will look to defend their Little East Conference/Alliance Championship from each of the past two years. This year's championship will take place at the Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts.
