CAMBRIDGE, Mass.--The Keene State College men's swim team hit three NCAA B-Cuts on the first day of the MIT Invitational on Friday night.
The 800 meter relay team of Shahar Resman, Christopher DiGiacomo, Ryan Boraski, and Cole Hogg won the event in 6:43.12, well ahead of the 6:50.23 standard time. Hogg and Resman earned All-America honors in the event at the 2014 NCAA Championships.
Resman also hit a B-standard in the 1,650 freestyle, with a time of 15:23.81, as did Christopher Deegan, who finished in 16:00.27. Both were easily in front of the B-cut time of 16:16.65.
KSC's women's entry into the 800 meter relay finished third, with Hope Walsh, Diana Pimer, Taylor DaSilva, and Alison Bartlett touching in in 7:46.48.
Walsh also finished third in the 1,650 free in 17:39.51.
The KSC women will make a quick detour from Cambridge down to North Dartmouth to defend their Little East Conference championship. The Owl men will continue at MIT with the Saturday preliminary sessions to begin at 10:30 am.
