BOSTON, Mass.--The Keene State swimming and diving teams took part in a tri-meet with Connecticut College and Boston College on Sunday afternoon.
The Owl women beat the Camels 149-139 but fell to the Division I Eagles 173-122. KSC's men's squad also beat Conn. College, by a 145-135 score, falling to Boston College 190-105.
Alison Bartlett won a pair of events for the Owls, taking the 50 free in 24.10 to beat BC's Maureen Barron by less than half a second. Bartlett also won another photo finish in the 100 free, winning in 53.36 to beat Conn. College's Sam Pierce by .06 seconds.
Taylor DaSilva had her name in the win column, taking the 100 back in 59.84, while Diana Pimer was second in the 100 breast, in 1:08.66, .10 seconds behind BC's Melissa Merwin. Pimer did pick up a win in the 200 back, touching first in 2:10.35.
DaSilva, Barlett, Olivia Gallugi, and Brianna Laliberte also won the 200 free relay in 1:39.91.
In men's action, Shahar Resman captured the 1,000 freestyle in 9:43.92, and won the 500 free in 4:44.03. Luke Sprague, Ryan Boraski, Cole Hogg, and Greg Youngstrom made up the 200 free relay team that won in 1:26.42.
KSC will return to the pool on Saturday, taking on Bridgeport and Assumption at the University of Bridgeport. The Owls then have a quick turnaround to hist Bridgewater State in KSC's lone home meet of the season on January 25.
