Men's Cross Country Wins Fourth Straight LEC Championship

KEENE, N.H.—The Keene State College men's cross country team placed the top three runners and four of the top seven to claim the 2015 Little East Conference Championship at Owl Athletic Complex on Saturday.

It was the fourth consecutive championship for the Owls, and 16th overall.
Sophomore Philip Parent claimed the individual title in 26:14.77, followed by teammate Hayden Patterson in 26:26.53. Ben MacDonald was in third place in 26:30.39.

Lee Cattanach of Eastern Connecticut State was fourth overall in 26:35.38, followed by Sam Brunette of Plymouth State in 26:39.03 for fifth place and Warren Bartlett, also of Plymouth State, in 26:50.71.
 

KSC's Mark Rabasco was seventh in 26:52.13. The top seven finishers received All-LEC Honors.

The Owls totaled 21 points in winning the championship, with Southern Maine in second place with 64 points. Plymouth State was third with 81, followed by Umass Dartmouth (96), Eastern Connecticut State (98), UMass Boston (202), and Rhode
