Box Score Clermont, Fla. - The Keene State College women's lacrosse team received two goals each from Kaitlin Nolan and Taylor Graf, but it was No. 15 Hamilton that scored the game's last five goals to earn the 11-6 victory Wednesday afternoon at the National Training Center.
KSC dips to 0-7 on the season, while the Continentals improve to 4-1.
Hamilton jumped out to a 2-0 lead at 26:15 as they received goals from Taylor Ryan and Caroline McCarthy 26 seconds seconds apart.
Kaitlin Nolan's two tallies notted the game at 2-2 with 21:38 left in the half.
Both teams exchanged the game's next two goals and Hamilton would notch two more on to take a 5-3 lead heading into halftime.
KSC scored the first three goals of the second half to take their only lead of the game at 6-5 at the 22:38 mark. Liz Robinson assisted on Polly Grey's goal, while Graf scored unassisted and Jenna Bellano added the sixth score of the game for the Owls.
From that points, the Continentals went on a run of five-straight goals from five different players to close out the game.
Alison Argiro was outstanding in net making 15 saves for the Owls. Hamilton held the advantage in shots (38-13) and ground balls (31-22).
The Owls return home tand will travel to Oneonta State Tuesday, March 24 at 5:00 p.m.
