SPRINGFIELD, Mass. - Several members of the Keene State College men's and women's track and field team competed at the ECAC Championships at Springfield College Thursday and Friday.
Junior Mark Rabasco placed 16th in the men's 10,000 meter run with a time of 33:11.25, while the men's 4x400 relay team of Eric Dietz, Quentin Bazarnicki, Devin Sanford and Emmett Berry also finished 16th in 3:23.53.
Senior Ben Keach had the Owls' best performance of the day finishing fourth in the javelin with a distance of 54.71 meters and Alex Magoon was just behind him with a throw of 53.50 meters good for sixth.
After eight events, the Keene State men's team was tied for 12th place with Tufts with eight points.
On the women's side, Kaley Mientkiewicz registered an 18th place finish in the 3000 meter steeplechase with a time of 11:48.92.
The 4x400 relay team of Katelyn Terry, Lindsey Terry, Lauren Markoe and Allison Brady placed 13th with a time of 4:00.90.
Junior Ashley Rozzi had a final throw in the javelin of 36.7 meters for an 11th place finish.
