CAMBRIDGE, Mass.--The Keene State College track and field team compiled a total of seven All-New England honors at the New England Division III Track and Field Championships at Massachusetts Institute of Technology this weekend.
The Keene State men were 16th out of 28 participating teams. The Owl women were 20th out of 30 squads.
Hayden Patterson was seventh in the 10,000 meters, finishing in a time of 31.48.13 to qualify for next week's Open New England Championships and the ECAC Championships the weekend after.
Mark Rabasco will also go to the Open New England and ECAC Championships in the 10,000 meters, finishing in 32:13.34.
Ben Keach was All-New England in the shotput, discus, and javelin. Keach placed third in the shotput with a throw of 15.06 meters, fourth in the discus at 44.85 meters, and third in the javelin at 54.30 meters.
For the women's team, Katelyn Terry was All-New England in the 400 meter dash, finishing fifth overall in 58.91. Kaley Mientkiewicz was seventh in the steeplechase in 11:34.96.
Katelyn Terry and Wheeler were also part of the 4x800 meter relay team that finished third overall in 9:32.95, along with Alyssa Lombardi and Alison Brady.
